The piece was created in over 4000 hours of work by the artist Niclas Castello, Sylvie Meis’ (43) husband. The blonde TV personality accompanied her husband to the United States and has been busy posting pictures of his latest work in Central Park.
“The Castello CUBE” also has its origins in Switzerland. Because without the know-how of the Rüetschi bell foundry in Aarau, the 186 kilograms of gold would probably never have turned into a cube. The oldest foundry in Switzerland had to buy a new oven for this, writes the “Aargauer Zeitung”.
However, the gold block is only one half of the work of art. At the same time, Castello also launched a cryptocurrency. The artist thus combines an ancient and a brand new means of payment in one project.
