Thiel and Boerne are investigating again: According to WDR, shooting for the new “crime scene” from Münster has been underway since last week. In “Justice, Who’s Right” Inspector Frank Thiel (Axel Prahl, 61) has to clarify the murder of a young lawyer. He died on the same night that a childhood friend of Prof. Karl-Friedrich Boerne (Jan Josef Liefers, 57) said goodbye to retirement with a big party.
That’s what the new Münster “crime scene” is all about
It also says in advance about the new case of the cult investigator duo: Boerne gives a farewell speech to his old friend Friedhelm Fabian (Jan Georg Schütte) and his wife Veronika (Proschat Madani). In addition to the Münster celebrities, Commissioner Thiel, assistant Silke Haller (ChrisTine Ursprechen) and public prosecutor Wilhelmine Klemm (Mechthild Großmann) also listen to his explanations.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, a dissatisfied client threatens his lawyer Nikolas Weber (Hadi Khanjanpour). When Commissioner Thiel is called to his office the next morning, he immediately recognizes the dead man as Nino Agostini’s (Claudio Caiolo) court attorney. Thiel believes the mafia boss is capable of cold-blooded murder. Thiel would also love to convict Agostini and put him behind bars forever. But the dead man’s former partner, Erik Nowak, is also suspicious. He spent the last few weeks in a psychiatric hospital and is currently visiting his father’s farm.
Meanwhile, in forensic medicine, Prof. Boerne is struggling with the consequences of last night. It was getting late at the farewell party and Silke Haller does not miss the fact that Boerne mourns the departure of Veronika Fabian almost more than that of his childhood friend Friedhelm. However, he is suddenly kidnapped…
Anniversary for Münster “crime scene”
The screenplay for the 42nd “Tatort” from Münster was written by Benjamin Hessler, directed by Janis Rebecca Rattenni. According to the broadcaster, the shooting will continue until April 7, 2022 in Münster, Cologne and the surrounding area. “Right to whom right is due” should still be on the first show in the anniversary year 2022. The “Tatort” team from Münster is celebrating its 20th birthday this year. On October 20, 2002, inspector Frank Thiel, together with forensic pathologist Prof. Karl-Friedrich Boerne, solved his first case, “The Dark Spot” in Münster. The two are considered to be the kings of ratings and the most popular investigators in the crime series.
