The presidential couple took part on Thursday, December 13, 2023, in the Eucharistic celebration organized for the 100 days of the Transitional Committee for the restoration of institutions in Gabon.
The president of the transition, General Oligui Nguema, accompanied by his wife Zita Oligui and several members of the government, notably the Prime Minister of the transition, Raymond Ndong Sima, as well as the faithful went to the Notre Dame de l’Assomption church. , to celebrate CTRI’s 100 days together.
Indeed, the opportunity was given to the president of the transition to express all his gratitude and recognition to God and the church who have accompanied him in each of his actions since August 30. It was also a question of giving thanks for the important achievements that have followed since he took power.
Remember that it has been three months since the Committee for the Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) took power in a “liberation coup”, as President Oligui Nguema describes it, replacing deposed President Ali Bongo Ondimba.
