Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud Md asked the authorities to save fate Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) who regretted asking the government to return to the country. Thanks to the sophistication of police technology, female workers (TKW) Of Arab Saudi it managed to locate it.
“That’s right, right? Using sophisticated digital tools, Cyber Police investigators (Directorate of Cyber Crime Bareskrim Polri) have immediately found the TKW,” Mahfud said via his Twitter account, Thursday (26/1/2023) at 06.21 WIB.
Mahfud posted a video link from kanal YouTube VOICEIIndonesia. Seen in the video, there is Siti Kurmeisah who is a TKW from Cianjur.
Indeed, Siti did not mention the exact location she was in, only the name of the company that sent it. But tracking has paid off. The city where Siti lives is known.
“It’s in Damman and has been informed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) to handle it,” Mahfud tweeted.
Damman or Dammam is a city located in the east of Saudi Arabia. Dammam is the fifth most populous city in Saudi Arabia, after Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Medina. Dammam is the capital of the Eastern Province.
In the video, Siti said that PT PTM, Putra Timur Mandiri, had departed. He wanted to go home because he was constantly slandered by his employer’s children and kept getting blamed. Even for matters of eating, he was prevented by his employer.
“I beg you to help me return to Indonesia. I beg you. Thank you,” said Siti, crying and looking scared.
For the sake of Siti Kurmeisah’s safety, Mahfud Md poked the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah, the Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati, to the Directorate of Cyber Crime Bareskrim Polri. He believes Siti’s work location can be traced by the Ministry of Manpower and the Police.
