I am a COVID-19 survivor at the last minute. As I am writing to you anonymously, it allows me to reveal to you that I was one of those who denied the existence of the virus. Much to the chagrin of my family and friends, I refused to wear the mask and took risks every day to defy fate.
My teenage daughter came home infected, gave it to me and I was hospitalized for 10 days, including two in intensive care. My daughter is ashamed of having infected me, and I am ashamed of having rebelled against public health. I wanted to apologize somewhere and your Courier gives me this opportunity without having to reveal myself in broad daylight.
With all my regrets
Even if it’s anonymously, at least you have the decency to apologize, which risks alerting some of your fellow human beings. It will always be taken.
