Here is the first victory for Graham Potter’s men in 2023, Chelsea won against Palace on their lawn by the smallest of margins and a goal from Kai Havertz shortly after the hour mark.
It’s a success that should do a lot of good, Blues, without being sparkling, won the three points at Stamford Bridge this afternoon (1-0). It is Havertz who scored in the 64th minute of play.
However, at the very end of the match, the players of Potter suffered and almost conceded the equalizer, a sign that the London team still has some rather problematic flaws. With this victory, Chelsea remains stuck in 10th place, but comes back up to Liverpool, with 28 points.
