Women still earn less than men. Even though they have the same competencies and do exactly the same work, they still receive an average of 5.3% less for it. A European transparency obligation that was approved by Europe on Tuesday should help close that gap. However, you should not fear that your close colleagues will soon know exactly how much you earn.
