Also T-Mobile starts offering bonding for DSL internet connections, which can increase speeds. The operator states that it can now offer speeds of 50 to 100 Mb / s at 1.5 million addresses. Speeds should reach up to 250 Mbps.
“To achieve twice the speed, two metallic cables (two twisted-pair cables) instead of one should be used for the Internet connection, if technically possible. A device called Terminator will take care of combining the transmission capacity and thus also the speed from both cables, which will always be professionally installed by a technician between the socket and the DSL modem. Terminator is free and the customer does not pay any monthly rent or other fee for it, ”says T-Mobile.
DSL bonding is available to new and existing customers. The operator will address the customers concerned by the speed increase with an offer.
Bonding has already included O2 in its offer, one of the three largest operators is waiting for Vodafone, including the UPC network operator.
