Munich – Because of Corona dream wedding burst, then trouble about the money. But now they’re smiling again!
Early retiree Iris Pawlowsky (55) and partner Karlheinz Kaspar (65, pensioner) from Pfaffenhofen (Bavaria) wanted to crown their love last summer: with a wedding in Las Vegas (USA). They treated themselves to the expensive business class tickets from Lufthansa for 4052 euros. The flights were canceled due to the ongoing pandemic.
Iris: “Lufthansa only reimbursed half. And only because we tried the arbitration board. ”
When “BILD fights” called the crane airline, the rest was quickly done. When Iris and Karlheinz will be able to realize their American wedding dream is uncertain. But we are still getting married! Until then, they have to console themselves with Elvis’ song: Viva Las Vegas!
