As we have already reported in several articles, the winner of the interim mayoral election in Göd, held on May 14, is the three-time Olympic champion Zoltán Kammerer, who was present at the opening ceremony of the new fire station built in Gödön by the Váci Fire Board on Monday afternoon.

Among the invited guests, Zoltán Kammerer, the new mayor of Göd who was elected on Sunday, expressed his gratitude to the voters of Göd who honored him with their trust and votes in a short statement given to the Danube Bend Region.
As stated, he willingly declares his professional plans to representatives of the press, from whom, however, he asks for patience until the final results of the election become legally binding.
Lajos László Szilágyi, who finished second in Sunday’s mayoral election, was also present at the opening ceremony, who publicly congratulated Zoltán Kammerer on his victory.
