Commission I of the DPR approved the KSAL Laksamana Yudo Margonor as a candidate for TNI Commander. Yudo’s wife, AKBP Veronica Yulis Prihayati or Vero Yudo Margono expressed gratitude that her husband was believed to be the top military leader.
“Thank God, thank God, my husband is regarded as the commander of TNI,” Vero said at his residence, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Friday (2/12/2022).
“Obviously all thanks to the prayers of all of them,” he added.
Vero revealed that there was no special preparation for the TNI commander’s mother. She will continue what the wife of the previous TNI commander did.
“There is no (special preparation), just accompany me later to continue,” he said.
Commission I of the DPR had previously approved Admiral Yudo Margono as a candidate for commander of the TNI. This was decided after Yudo underwent a fit and fairness test as a candidate for TNI Commander.
The decision was announced by the chairman of Commission I of the DPR, Meutya Hafid, who is also leading the due diligence process. The due diligence was held in the meeting room of DPR I Commission, Parliamentary Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Friday (2/12).
“Give approval for the nomination of TNI commander candidate Admiral Yudo Margono,” Hafid said, tapping his gavel in approval.
