Moderator Svetlana Witowská took on the role of moderating the prestigious Thália Theater Awards from the National Theater building this year. When choosing a dress, she turned to her court designer Beata Rajská, who dressed her in a silver gown made of an unusual lamé material from distant Switzerland. In an interview with Lifee.cz magazine, the designer revealed how the selection of dresses went, and the presenter added which models she likes to wear the most.
Moderator Svetlana Witowská (51) she shone on the stage of the National Theater in a silver dress from the workshop of designer Beata Rajská. The choice of dress was definitely not a coincidence. “I’ve been working with Svetlana for a long time, and we talked about dressing her for the broadcast. Unfortunately, I can’t make it today, but we sat down on a friendly basis,” Beata Rajská told us, whose models Witowská likes to wear at social events.

Witowska silver dress made of Swiss lamé
Svetlana Witowska she chose the dress for the Thalia Awards in collaboration with the designer. The material is unique. “When she told me that Thálie would host this time, we chose a dress from my Chiméra Love collection made of beautiful silver georgette. But be careful, it’s a llama! The structure of this dress is georgette, but it is lamé,” Rajská revealed to Lifee magazine. Georgette is a fine flowing fabric of twisted yarns, with a slightly ribbed surface, while lamé is a shiny yarn or fabric that contains metallic threads.
The fabric does not come from the Czech Republic. “It comes from a Swiss manufactory in St. Gallen. They use interweaving material in the waist. The dress is simple cut, kimono style,” Rajská describes how she designed the dress. The always serious Witowská had one reservation about them. “The only thing we did for Svetlana was that we were with another layer they softened their transparency.“
At the awarding evening of the 31st year of the Thalia Awards the presenter looked like an ancient goddess in a silver model with a beautiful braided belt.
Moderator Svetlana Witowská recently appeared in Life magazine she described in detail which models she likes to wear the most. She admits she prefers pants to dresses, but social events don’t ask… “I have been working with Beata Rajska for a long time. I like her clean and simple style. I like clean and simple things,” compliments Svetlana, who we always see elegantly and decently dressed. “I don’t follow fashion much and I don’t really know other designers. It is not a topic I would deal with,” the blonde says modestly.
