Thailand’s EXAT exempts tolls on 5 expressways for 2024 New Year celebration

The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) exempts from collecting tolls on the Burapha Withi Expressway. (Bangna-Chonburi) and Kanchanaphisek (Bang Phli – Suksawat) continuously for 7 full days, while expressway stages 1 and 2 and Bang Pa-in – Pak Kret Expressway run free for 2 days.

5 expressways that will be exempt from toll fees during New Year 2024

  • Burapha Withi Expressway (Bangna-Chonburi Expressway)
  • Kanchanaphisek Expressway (Bang Phli–Suksawat)

Starting from Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 12:01 a.m. to Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 12:00 a.m., a total of 7 days, according to government and Ministry of Transport policy. Like the Department of Highways

  • Chalerm Mahanakorn Expressway (1st stage expressway)
  • Si Rat Expressway (2nd stage expressway)
  • Udon Ratthaya Expressway (Bang Pa-in – Pak Kret Expressway)

Starting from Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 12:01 a.m. to Monday, January 1, 2024 at 12:00 a.m., a total of 2 days, in collaboration with Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited and Northern Bangkok Expressway Company Limited.

However, the Chalong Rat Expressway is not exempt from toll fees during this period.

In addition, EXAT has extended the discount on expressway tolls at At Narong 1 Checkpoint (Bang Na) in the amount of 25 baht for all types of vehicles for another year, until December 31, 2024.
