SINGAPORE – The Thai national team (National Team) will play more relaxed against Indonesian National team on the second leg of the final AFF Cup 2020. This was conveyed by the coach of the War Elephant squad, Alexandre Polking.
In the first meeting, the Indonesian national team was beaten by Thailand 4-0 at the National Stadium, Singapore, on (29/12/2021). Chanathip Songkrasin (2′ and 52′) scored, Supachok Sarachat’s strike (67′) and Bodin Phala’s (83′) contribution.
However, in the second match, there will be something more different than Chanathip Songkrasi and his friends. They will play more freely because they are not burdened to catch up with the score.
“With a good result from the first leg we feel a bit more free and can play the way we like,” Polking said in a virtual press conference on Friday (12/31/2021).
Although more free, the architect of Brazilian-German descent will not change his playing style. They will play as they showed in the first leg.
