BANGKOK, KOMPAS.com – Netizen of Thailand reportedly ready to sell lizard if anyone is willing to pay hundreds of baht per kilo.
Reported China Press, the netizen admitted to selling it at a price of 300 baht (Rp. 138,000) per kg, or 300,000 baht (Rp. 138.5 million) per ton.
The seller was contacted, with the identity of a 35-year-old man named Lentivanon.

He revealed that he came from a poor family where they only had one motorcycle.
After working abroad for 10 years, Lentivanon admits he wants to return to his hometown and find work there.
However, his efforts always met a steep road. The situation got worse when the Covid-19 outbreak hit Thailand.
When talking to friends from Indonesia, Lentivanon got the idea to catch and dry the lizard before it is imported into China.
Gazetted World of Buzz Saturday (24/4/2021), the friend also brought him a dryer to dry the lizard.
He tried it, and unexpectedly his business grew rapidly. He even created a Facebook page to sell it.
On Facebook, Lentivanon sells live and dried lizards and a list of prices.
Lentivanon said he was selling dried lizards to a boss from China, which he exported as ingredients for making medicine.
The response to the advertisement was shocking. Immediately netizen Thailand imitated and sold the lizard.
