Thai Inventors and Researchers Win Awards at WorldInvent Singapore 22+23

Mr. Phisit Mitkuekul, President of the Model Airplane and RC Airplane Sports Association, led his work of a baggage delivery drone using 4G/5G systems to win the Technical Vocational Training Corporation Award from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Innovation Award Winner), which is the work of Thai children, including: Mr. Apiluck Surakiatsombat and Mr. Phongsaphak Senaphak from the Model and Radio-controlled Airplane Sports Association With support from the National Research Council (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. Leading a group of inventors and researchers to bring their inventions and innovations to compete and display at the WorldInvent TM 22+23 Singapore International Invention Show between 4 – 6 September 2023 at D’ Marquee, Downtown East in the Republic of Singapore.

WorldInvent TM 22+23 Singapore International Invention Show (WoSG) is a competition and presentation of the work of international inventors organized by the Innovation Design & Entrepreneurship Association (IDEA), an international agency for promoting invention and innovation. Ch. is a Thai agency that screens and presents names of inventions and innovations (Exclusive Agency) to participate in the WoSG stage. WoSG is a stage that receives feedback from inventors, researchers, investors, and Academics from many countries This year’s event showcased more than 300 inventions and innovations, both online and on-site. From more than 20 countries such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia kingdom of morocco People’s Republic of China federation of malaysia Republic of Indonesia, State of Qatar, Republic of China, Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Thailand.

For this year 2023, NRCT has brought inventions, research results, and innovations from Thailand to present at the “WorldInvent TM 22+23 Singapore International Invention Show” to compete in various subject groups, including AgriTech • Chemical • EduTech. • Electronics & Mechatronics• GreenTech & CleanTech• HealthTech & SilverTech• Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering• Product Design

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yongchai Nilanon, President of Siriraj Stroke Center Siriraj Hospital along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornchai Chanyakorn, Deputy Dean for Procedural Quality Development Faculty of Engineering Mahidol University, and Mr. Chan Wai Zhong of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital Mahidol University and the Siriraj Stroke Center team brought the work “Vehicle for Radiological Diagnosis”, Siriraj Mobile Stroke Treatment Vehicle or “Siriraj Mobile Stroke Unit – Stroke One Stop”, to win 2 awards including – “Gold Medal Award ” or the Gold Medal Award For inventions and innovations – “World Champion Innovation” award or world-class innovation award

Inventions and innovations that received the Special Prize on stage from international organizations, another 4 works include:

– Work on “Drones transporting baggage using the 4G/5G system” by Mr. Phisit Mitkuekul, Mr. Apiluk Surakiatsombat and Mr. Pongsaphak Senaphak from the Model and Radio-controlled Airplane Sports Association. Received an award from Technical Vocational Training Corporation, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Innovation Award Winner)

– Work titled “Friends in the Niramit Universe” by Ms. Panida Yomabutr and her team from the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. Mahidol University Received an award from the Innovation Design & Entrepreneurship Association Singapore (Future Technology Excellence Award)

– Work titled “Nano Sheet®: A new type of biodegradable material delivery system to increase efficiency” by Ms. Patcharaphak Suriwong and colleagues from NanoGene Company Limited and the National Science and Technology Development Agency. Received an award from the Innovation Design & Entrepreneurship Association, Singapore (Most Disruptive Startup Award)

– Work on “Hybrid Sure: Inspection Technology Hybrid seed purity too DNA quickly and accurately” by Dr. Wiralda Phutakham and colleagues from the National Omics Center National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and National Science and Technology Development Agency Received an award from the Innovation Design & Entrepreneurship Association Singapore (Best ASEAN Award)

And in the WoSG stage, the work of Thai inventors and researchers has won medals at various levels. As follows: – Gold medals, 10 works – Silver medals, 8 works – Bronze medals, 5 works along with Special Prizes from various countries.
