Abdesselam Chebaa and Yassine Arroud were elected respectively president and vice-president of Amith North at an extraordinary general assembly of Amith North held last week. The pair took the reins after the resignation of the former office in the wake of the mask affair (cf. the June 8, 2020 edition of the Economist). The interim presidency was provided by Kamal Mazari, former president of Amith-North and CGEM-North who also ensured the preparation of this assembly and these elections by federating the members.
