An elderly woman in Texas was diagnosed and cured of lung cancer on the same day. Like in the blink of an eye, the disease in his body just disappeared. What’s the story?
The woman is April Boudreau (61). He awoke from local anesthesia to find that the tumor in his lung had been identified and removed. He said, everything just happened without radiation and chemotherapy treatment.
When he woke up from anesthesia, Boudreau was shocked because his body had been cleared of cancer. He said that he had not experienced many symptoms before that day. He only complained about shortness of breath, which he thought was an aging problem.
“I took painkiller pills for three days, and that was all I needed. Three days later, I was normal, walking around. I couldn’t believe it,” he said, quoted by the New York Post, Wednesday (22/11/2023) .
Boudreau has undergone cancer treatment three times in his life. She had twice survived Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1984 and 1985, and breast cancer in 2002. Then last January, she underwent a CT scan and doctors discovered a worrying lump in her right lung.
He then underwent further tests at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital. Referring to a lung biopsy, doctors discovered that the lump in Boudreau’s lung was early-stage lung cancer.
The doctor immediately carried out follow-up by removing the cancer cells while Boudreau was under local anesthesia. The medical team used a new minimally invasive thoracic surgery technique, using ultra-thin catheters guided robotically to target lesions in hard-to-reach areas of the lungs.
