An ultra-conservative Texas politician in the United States is offering a million-dollar reward for proof that Donald Trump is being targeted for fraud in the presidential election.
Dan Patrick, Texas Lieutenant Governor, says he is offering the money to “encourage, encourage and reward” citizens who can provide evidence of electoral fraud, despite Joe Biden being the elected President of the United States, as announced on Saturday.
“I support President Trump’s efforts to identify electoral fraud in the presidential election and his commitment to ensuring that all legal votes are counted and that all illegal votes are disqualified,” Patrick said in a statement, reported by the television station ABC13.
“Delays in counting postal votes in other states raise more questions about electoral fraud and potential errors,” he said.
To that end, the Texan politician is offering to pay in fractions of at least $ 25,000 to each person who provides information that leads to a conviction. The money will come from Dan Patrick’s campaign funds.
There is no evidence of fraud or widespread wrongdoing on the part of voters in Texas or any other American state, despite repeated efforts by Trump and his supporters to cast doubt on the integrity of the November 3 elections.
