A 25-year-old man, who disappeared almost ten years ago, was found on July 1 in Houston, Texas (USA), with cuts and bruises all over his body.
He had been missing for eight years. Rudy Farias, a young man aged 25, was miraculously found on Saturday in Houston, the Texas capital, in the United States. He disappeared in 2015 with cuts and bruises all over his body, authorities said.
According to le New York Post, the young man was seen outside a church, without reaction. Worried, passers-by decided to call for help. He has since been in hospital with his family.
His mother told the press that her son was found with “cuts and bruises, and blood in his hair”. She also clarified that he was “in bad shape” mentally and physically, but that she was grateful to have found him.
Disappeared while walking his dogs
In 2015, then 17-year-old Rudy Farias was walking his dogs near the family home in Houston when he went missing. At the time of his disappearance, he suffered from depression, post-traumatic stress and anxiety, Texas EquuSearch said in 2015.

And for good reason, several years earlier, he had witnessed the death of his brother following a motorcycle accident. “It is possible that he is disoriented because he has not taken his medication,” the organization said at the time, as it launched a search to find Farias.
“How could this have happened? We believe in miracles and it was definitely a miracle,” said Texas EquuSearch director Tim Miller. “I can’t even tell you how many times we researched and how many leads and information came in, but it just faded away and all of a sudden, there you go,” he added. Nevertheless, many questions still remain unanswered, in particular on what happened to Rudy Farias during all these years, and the origin of his disappearance.
