Texas Man Arrested for Alleged Attempted Child Abduction at Indoor Entertainment Center

LUBBOCK, Texas (Telemundo Gray News) – A Texas man has been arrested after he allegedly tried to take a 13-year-old girl from an indoor children’s entertainment center.

According to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Blazing Bouncers Sunday afternoon on a suspicious person report.

Blazing Bouncers is a play center with bouncers, climbing jungles, towers and more.

When officers arrived, they were told that a man had entered the business and approached the girl, hugged her, and asked her to go out with him.

An employee noticed the situation and intervened, keeping the suspect inside the building until officers arrived.

The man was identified as Raúl Chávez, 60 years old. He was arrested and charged with unlawful retention of a minor.

Chavez is currently being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
