Texas Elementary Shooter Posts Terror Plan 15 Minutes Before Action

Texas

Police shot dead Salvador Ramos, perpetrator of mass shooting at elementary school (SD) in Texas, United States of America (USA). The perpetrator had shared the mass shooting plan on his Facebook account 15 minutes before taking action.

Reported AFPTexas Governor Greg Abbott said the suspect shot his grandmother in the face before heading to the primary school where the mass shooting was located.

“The first post was, he said ‘I’m going to shoot my grandma,'” Abbott said, Thursday (26/5/2022).

“The second post was ‘I shot my grandmother.’ The third post, maybe less than 15 minutes before arriving at school was ‘I want to shoot elementary school'” explained Abbott.

Chronology

Abbott explained the moments the mass shooting took place. He detailed it.

“The first thing that happened was the gunman shot his grandmother in the face,” Abbott said.

“He then called the police. The gunman fled and, while he was fleeing, had a (vehicle) accident outside the primary school and he ran to the school,” Abbott explained.

“Officers… attacked the gunman at that moment. The gunman then entered the back door and down two short hallways, and then entered the classroom on the left side (then a mass shooting ensued),” he concluded.

Facebook Open Voice

Facebook then opened a voice about the perpetrator’s post. Facebook said ‘the post is a private text message that was discovered after the horrific tragedy occurred’.

“We are working closely with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation,” said Andy Stone, a spokesman for Facebook’s parent company Meta.
