Texas begins construction of border wall with Mexico

The Texas border wall is officially up.

According to the Texas governor, the border fence will be built “quickly” on state-owned land and will have multiple detection devices around people in order to “respond quickly.”

Although it did not provide details on the cost and length of the wall, Abbott indicated that “we are going to spend whatever is necessary to build as much as we can.”

In this sense, he added that those Americans who want to support the project can donate money in a special account that so far has collected 54 million dollars.

The governor also warned that undocumented migrants detained will be charged with trespassing into the state of Texas and interned in the jail.
