Texas-based Company Claims Scientific Evidence of MH370’s Final Resting Place in Southern Indian Ocean
A Texas-based company, Ocean Infinity, has recently made a bold claim that they possess scientific evidence of the final resting place of the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370. The plane, which disappeared over the South China Sea in 2014, is believed to have crashed in the southern Indian Ocean. Ocean Infinity has submitted a proposal to the Malaysian government for a new search in this area, offering a “no-cure, no-fee” arrangement where payment is only required if they achieve a positive outcome.
Oliver Plunkett, the CEO of Ocean Infinity, expressed the company’s determination to find MH370 and provide closure for those affected by the tragedy. He stated, “Finding MH370 and bringing some resolution for all connected with the loss of the aircraft has been a constant in our minds since we left the southern Indian Ocean in 2018.” Plunkett also highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing their ocean search capabilities through technological innovation and robotics.
The disappearance of MH370 on March 8, 2014, sent shockwaves around the world. The Boeing 777 vanished from air traffic control radars shortly after departing from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Extensive analysis of radar data and satellite “pings” revealed that the plane deviated from its planned route, heading west across Southeast Asia before changing course southward over the Indian Ocean. On board were 239 individuals, including 12 crew members.
Malaysia’s transport minister, Anthony Loke, has expressed confidence in Ocean Infinity’s proposal and has invited them to discuss the “no cure, no fee” arrangement. Loke stated, “I am very, very confident that the government of Malaysia and cabinet will approve such a proposal.” The company is currently analyzing data in an effort to narrow down the search area. Plunkett acknowledged the challenges of this search but expressed hope in the expertise of their team and external experts to increase the chances of success.
Ocean Infinity previously conducted a three-month search in 2018, covering approximately 112,000 square kilometers under the same “no cure, no fee” agreement. Unfortunately, this effort did not yield any new findings. However, the company remains determined to continue their search for MH370 and provide answers to the families and loved ones of those on board.
The mystery surrounding the disappearance of MH370 has captivated the world for years. The proposed new search by Ocean Infinity brings renewed hope for answers and closure. As technology and expertise continue to advance, the chances of locating the final resting place of the plane increase. The Malaysian government’s consideration of Ocean Infinity’s proposal signifies their commitment to finding answers and providing closure to the families affected by this tragic event.
While the search for MH370 has been challenging and complex, Ocean Infinity’s determination and dedication to advancing their search capabilities give hope that one day, the truth behind this aviation mystery will be revealed. The families of those on board MH370 deserve closure, and the scientific evidence claimed by Ocean Infinity may finally bring them the resolution they have been seeking for over a decade.
