The main courts of Texas y Ohio have already authorized both states to apply the abortion ban that opened the door last week on United States Supreme Court by overturning the right to voluntary interruption of pregnancy that the same court had ruled in the judgment ‘Roe v. Wade’ 1973′.

Thus, the Texas Supreme Court blocked a lower court order allowing clinics to continue providing abortions and allowed a 1925 law prohibiting termination of pregnancy to go into effect.

The court acted in response to a request by Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton to suspend temporary order issued by a judge allowing abortions to resume in the state up to six weeks of pregnancy.

In turn, the Ohio Supreme Court also gave the state the green light to enforce the abortion ban. This rule prevents interrupting the pregnancy after it has been detected for the first time the heartbeat of the fetusthat is, about six weeks of pregnancy.

This measure, which Republican Governor Mike DeWine signed into law, had been blocked in the federal courts. But hours after the Supreme Court decision, a federal judge dissolved the precautionary measure that prevented his execution.

Meanwhile, the protests against the US Supreme Court decision continue. Not only in the United States have women come out to demonstrate against the sentence, but this Saturday they have also taken place protests in other parts of the world such as Australia, France or the Netherlands.
