(WeFu) Oberliga football club DJK Teutonia St. Tönis, whose club name will soon be history due to the merger and will then be called SC St. Tönis 2020/11, has occupied another squad place. Daud Gergery comes from the relegated SC Düsseldorf-West to Gelderner Straße. The 24-year-old winger, preferably on the right, can look back on an interesting CV. He came to Borussia Mönchengladbach through the U17s of VfR Fischeln. Then TSG 1899 Hoffenheim noticed him and signed him for the U19s there. His coach at the time was Julian Nagelsmann. 1. FC Bocholt and 1. FC Monheim were his first senior positions before the German-Iraqi, who lives on the outskirts of St. Tönis and has a hairdresser in Krefeld, moved to the state capital two years ago.

He is after Linus Krajac (Jahn Hiesfeld), Branimir Galic (1. FC Viersen), Simon Sell (VfR Fischeln), Joshua Claringbold (TSV Wachtendonk-Wankum), Nils Macvan (TSV Meerbusch), Nils Koths (SV St. Tönis) , Mario Knops, Marc Knops (both VfL Tönisberg) and Johann Noubissi Noukumo (Wuppertaler SV, A-Juniors) are the tenth new signing. Those responsible want to decide in the next few days whether the team headed by new coach Alex Thamm will also fill the position made vacant by Brian Drubel – there have been many inquiries.

Have or will leave the club: Felix Burdzik (SC Balga-Pearth/Australia), Burhan Sahin (OSC Rheinhausen), Samed Yesil, Leonard Bajraktari (both Ratinger SpVg. Germania), Hiroya Genda (unknown), Arton Tolaj (TSV Meerbusch) , Luke Heidrich, Alexander Siepmann (both VfL Tönisberg) and Kanta Seki (Schwerin).
