The content of the Ricis divorce case is filed under number 547/Pdt.G/2024/PA.JS. In the decision given by the Religious Court, the beginning of Ricis and Teuku Ryan’s house problems were revealed. It seems that their home began to crack since April 2022 or when Ricis was pregnant with her only child, Bunda.

Responding to this situation, Ryan then raised his voice. Through his personal YouTube channel, he issued a clarification to give an explanation which he said was not in accordance with the facts and destroyed the good name of the family.

In this regard, Ryan said that this incident happened when his parents first visited their house in Jakarta. At that time, Ricis gave Ryan frozen dates at dawn.

“I want to talk about dates. It was the first time my parents visited Jakarta after we got married and we invited them to a four-month anniversary event when we were pregnant with our first child. No my parents only visited when we invited them,” he said.

“At dawn, my wife gave me frozen dates and my mother, who is a public health graduate, calmly asked me, ‘Since when does Ryan drink ice?’ Doesn’t Ryan have tonsils?’. Of course it’s all situational, my wife is pregnant at the moment, so maybe she’s more sensitive,” he continued.

Ryan then admitted that he was indeed unconscious as a freshman at that time. Instead of mediating, he kept quiet and thought it was just normal criticism from parents.

Ryan also admitted that he had criticized his mother after the incident. However, he did not relay the conversation to Ricis and so the misunderstanding continued.
