“Tet” Internet Services to be Available on “Wolt” Delivery Platform in the Future – Cooperation Agreement Signed

Internet services offered by the technology company SIA “Tet” will also be available on the “Wolt” delivery platform in the future, LETA agency was informed by “Tet” representatives.

The company informs that the first “Tet” product that is available to users of the “Wolt” platform is an internet subscription, adding that after the order is placed, “Tet” representatives will contact customers about the progress of the order, inform about the conditions and agree on the time of internet installation for the customer at the address.

On the other hand, Mants Lomsargis, the manager of “Wolt” in the Baltic states, notes that the conclusion of the cooperation agreement with “Tet” is an important step in the implementation of the business goals of “Wolt” in order to continue developing a comprehensive offer of the e-commerce platform for both private individuals and local entrepreneurs.

It has already been announced that the turnover of the “Tet” concern in 2022 was 326.656 million euros, which is 29% more than a year earlier, but the profit of the concern decreased by 10.7% and was 25.779 million euros. At the same time, the turnover of “Tet” itself in 2022 was 231.436 million euros, which is 15.4% more than in 2021, but the company’s profit decreased by 10.2% and was 24.056 million euros.

“Tet” is owned by the state SIA “Publisko aktivat gemanatājs “Possessor”” (51%) and by “Tilts Communications”, a subsidiary of the telecommunications company “Telia Company” (49%).

It was also reported that SIA “Wolt Latvija” worked with a turnover of 11.747 million euros in 2021, which is 3.7 times more than in 2020, but the company’s profit decreased 4.3 times – to 109,948 euros. The company’s 2022 financial results have not yet been made public.

“Wolt Latvija” was registered in October 2016, and its share capital is 2,800 euros, according to “Firmas.lv” information. The sole owner of the company is Finland’s “Wolt Enterprises”.
