The Samsung Galaxy A54 is currently the best-equipped A-series phone in the South Korean manufacturer’s portfolio. It has a 5nm processor, a 5,000mAh battery, resistance according to IP67, but also supports eSIM or Wi-Fi 6. In addition to the above, however, the photo equipment is definitely worth mentioning, which includes, for example, a completely new (intergenerationally larger) 1/1.56″ sensor with improved optical stabilization (with a range of 1.5 degrees instead of 0.95 degrees, as was the case with the Galaxy A53), but also a dedicated macro camera or an ultra-wide-angle lens. Unlike the Galaxy A53, the photo equipment lacks a dedicated bokeh sensor, but this is not a bad thing, as the phone can still “conjure up” a portrait effect using software. The photo application is standard, very easy to use, with the possibility to add user-preferred modes to the main selection bar. A minor novelty is the Fun mode, which is linked to the Snapchat application and works with various filters and effects. However, this mode (Entertainment) can be moved to the Other section, where it will be out of sight.
