‘Testing for Access offers negative test evidence as compensation’

A reporter from NH was offered a negative result without a test to go partying for Tests for Access. And she wasn’t the only one. The company could not be reached for comment. Due to technical problems and a possible hack, many people seem to receive their results too late.

Maaike Polder, NH Nieuws reporter, went to the test street again after she no results yesterday got after her test. She has since received an email with a negative result. “I went to the test location and complained. Then I had to sign up and they matched me to a negative test through the system without undergoing a test.”

According to employees of the test location, the mail system was not working and it was out for a day. “There were two people at the test street who also had themselves tested for the second time,” says Maaike. “Normally you get the results within an hour. This is a real shame, I’m curious what it will look like in two weeks in terms of infections.”

Another story is that of Fleur*. She had to make a new appointment today and went to the test location again. There she indicated that the result was not yet known and that the contact number could not answer her questions.

“I didn’t have to test there anymore and got a negative result as compensation. Yesterday a girl at the counter sent me home because I had forgotten my ID. After fifteen minutes I came back and my ID was not needed after all. tested, but was on hold for hours at the number after which I got that negative result as ‘compensation’,” she tells NH Nieuws.

*Fleur’s real name is known to the editors.

Testing for Access is not available to the press or consumers. When they call, they are told: ‘it is so busy that they cannot be answered.’
