In Eure-et-Loir, 3,000 young people aged 18 to 25 are looking for a job, they represent 15% of job seekers in category A, “up 2% over one year” , notes Anne-Marie Barbeau, territorial director Employment center of Eure-et-Loir.
2,500 places will be opened for training young people and other measures are being put in place to allow companies to recruit the new generation.

I graduated from a 1st Economy and Social and I failed my entrance exam to the nursing assistant school. I was quickly offered a life support training with collective workshops to make CVs, cover letters … I am now on a part-time CDI.
The young woman went through the PACEA course then by phase Youth Guarantee.
“These levers should not be a brake, scare young people, that they think it will be a real obstacle course to put in place, on the contrary, these actors are there to help them”, underlines Adrien Bayle, secretary general of the prefecture of Eure-et-Loir.
Motivated young people
A young inhabitant of the agglomeration of Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) confirms his words. Aged 21, Kenan is now a commercial in a one-person building company.
After a technological baccalaureate and a higher technician’s certificate, he was looking for a job.
I did my research myself, going to distribute CVs everywhere. I quickly fell into oblivion so I redirected myself to the Pôle Emploi application, filled in some information and applied for a lot of jobs. Result: I had the choice of the company!
On the business side, hiring aid is interesting. The manager of a company in Ouarville does not hesitate to train young adults and offer them long contracts. “As soon as I am told ‘I want to learn and I am motivated’, I am ready to invest”.
