Unfortunately, we are not on Apple’s short list of newspapers that get the iPhone 12 in for testing first.
iPhone 12 does very well with the techno-press
Why do you have to ask Apple, but we have read the reviews in foreign media, and see that the average is 9 out of 10.
Especially the iPhone 12 is praised for now being very close to the Pro. At the same time, both mobiles receive a more neutral approval of the battery life, which is no better than on last year’s models.
But again: these have 5G and faster chipsets, and that must also be included in the overall assessment.
LiDAR has little to say beyond a better camera
The Verge points out that the iPhone 12 Pro has LiDAR, but that so far only the camera benefits from this. As everyone is aware, AR is still not a hit, but is usually only used in some selected games. Apple has long tried to push AR up and forward, but it does not look like much will happen before AR glasses become a thing.
The conclusion of both newspapers is that the iPhone 12 is the model most people should buy, and that they find it more difficult to recommend the iPhone 12 Pro, which is a good deal more expensive.
For those of you who want the very best camera system, none of these are the right choice, it is the iPhone 12 Pro Max that is the most. Advance sales start on November 6 with availability on November 13.
