Our motorcycle expert drove Harley-Davidson e-bikes: “So light that you can easily get home without support”
Harley-Davidson wants to get a piece of the pie with electric bicycles. The motorcycle brand that for years prided itself on old school styling, shiny chrome and a bad boy image now focuses on a younger audience that is open to new mobility and the much-discussed modal shift. Funnily enough, they do that with a product that is astonishingly similar to what it once started for HD: bicycles with an auxiliary motor. Our motorcycle expert Arno Jaspers drove the electric Harley-Trapson and that was not too bad: “Who would have thought that the most classic motorcycle manufacturer would come onto the market with such a good, modern e-bike?”
