International IT company TestDevLab, founded in Latvia, has officially opened its fourth international office in the Spanish city of Malaga. Currently, 12 of the company’s more than 500 employees work in Spain.
Last year, the company opened its offices in Estonia, Lithuania and North Macedonia. TestDevLab has six offices in Latvia. Employees from Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Spain, Turkey and other countries work remotely in the company.
Malaga is not only one of the oldest inhabited cities in Western Europe, but many experienced IT professionals call it home. Also, opening a local office is an important step to develop a business in Spain.
TestDevLab co-founder Ervin Grinfeld comments on the opening of the new Malaga office, “We have had several employees from Spain working remotely in the company for many years and this allowed us to get to know the work culture and business environment of this country. Therefore, we made a strategic decision to open an office in Spain in order to provide a comfortable working environment for our employees and develop business in this country. There are many companies operating in Spain that can benefit from our software quality assurance services and products, and I expect that our local representation will allow us to establish successful collaborations with them. We also plan to cooperate with the local IT commune in various events, as well as participate in the education of students in the areas of software development and testing. Our employees from other countries are also happy about the opening of the office in Spain, and now they can take advantage of the opportunity to work from sunny Spain.”
TestDevLab, a company established in Latvia in 2011, deals with the provision of software testing services and the development of testing products. Among the company’s clients are both start-ups and international giants such as Microsoft, Skype, Orange, Telefonica, Airbnb, etc. The software tested by the company’s 500+ engineers is used by more than 4.5 billion people worldwide. TestDevLab has received the LIAA Export and Innovation Award, The Red Jackets Export Excellence Award, and the company’s testing products have been highly rated at the prestigious European Software Testing Awards for several years in a row. In 2019, TestDevLab obtained the information security management standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate and this year also received the quality management standard ISO 9001:2015 certificate.
