Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 January, the village of Couchey, in Côte-d’Or, invites you to the 79th edition of the Saint-Vincent Tournante. Before this weekend of festivities, find out if you know anything about this wine-growing village.

For this 2023 edition, the village of Couchey is hosting the traditional Saint-Vincent Tournante.

It’s at 7e century that the Duke Amalgaire endowed the abbey of Bèze with an estate he owned in Couchey. It was the monks of this abbey who first cultivated the vines. This wine culture developed very quickly to the detriment of agricultural culture.

On the occasion of this new edition of the Saint-Vincent Tournante, test your knowledge of this village :

Close to Dijon, located along the Route des Grands Crus, this charming village is surrounded by vineyards bearing the Marsannay appellation since 1987.

Le Marsannay has the French label AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) as well as the European label AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protégée).

It is the only Village appellation that can be expressed under the three colors, red, white and rosé.
