Test seven-seater MPV Dacia Jogger

Arguing with Dacia’s owners is often a thankless job. They usually bought their first brand new car and are convinced that they have made a purchase for decades. No wonder Dacia can really offer a nicely equipped, reliable and above all unprecedentedly practical car for a very decent price.

But if you look at it without pink glasses, you will find that you just had to save somewhere. Fortunately, it’s been seeing less and less lately. The interior is simple, made of cheaper plastics, but that wouldn’t matter. In fact, the only thing that bothered me was the insufficient adjustment of the seats (there is no tilting seat, but this is also a problem with the much more expensive Renault) and a “more luxurious” sewing of the decorative strips with fabric. It is also uncomfortably scratching the elbows in the doors and elbows due to its structure.

The range of engines is also unprecedented: there is a one-liter three-cylinder available, either for petrol or LPG. Nothing more. And when you fully load the car, you will have to reckon with limited dynamics in the hills. In addition, it could run smoother and soundproof at idle. On the other hand, it pulls well at medium speeds, and thanks to long gears it can be very economical.

You will see in the video what other pros and cons I discovered during the week of testing.
