Test results of a woman who went missing in a tsunami 10 years ago

TOKYO: The remains of a woman who went missing during the 2011 tsunami disaster in Japan have been found. The body was found ten years after the tragedy. The skeleton of 61-year-old Natzuko Okuyama, who went missing at the time, has now been recovered. Scientific examination revealed that the body belonged to Natsuko.

The remains were found off the northeast coast of Miyagi. DNA tests were then performed. Their son is at peace with the remnants of his mother. The official information is that 2500 people who went missing after the tragedy are still missing. The 2011 earthquake and tsunami caused extensive damage to Japan.

The quake, which measured 9.0 on the Richter scale, was the largest in Japan’s history and the seventh largest in the world.
