Test results and proofs come later due to a failure in Testing for Access | NOW

The website testingvoortaccess.nl has been struggling with a malfunction since Thursday. People who have undergone a corona test to gain access to a testing event will therefore temporarily not receive a result or test evidence.

Some people have been waiting for the results of a rapid test since Thursday, which is normally known within thirty minutes. It is not known how long the outage will last and how many people have been affected by it.

The CoronaCheck app, in which a negative result of a quick test is converted into a QR code to access test outings, has difficulty with special characters in names. It concerns, for example, spaces or dashes. As a result, someone with the first name Jan-Willem, for example, cannot have his test result converted into a test certificate. A group of people also waits longer than usual for test results. The cause of this is not yet known.

People who experience problems with the CoronaCheck app are allowed to show an email with the test result instead of a QR code at the entrance of the event location. If you are still waiting for the result of a quick test, you can contact the helpdesk of quick test provider Lead Healthcare, the Testing for Access platform advises.

On Friday evening, nearly fifteen thousand visitors are welcome at pop venues and the Eredivisie game between Willem II and RKC Waalwijk. Testing for Access ensures that access for those affected does not have to be compromised.
