Site web WABetaInfo draws attention to the development of new functions. We are talking about the disappearance of photos and images that can be sent in messenger versions for Android and iOS.
Such photos cannot be exported or copied from the chat. However, there is no function for detecting an attempt to take a screenshot. The feature is not yet available to users and an exact release date has not been stated.
The new effort to increase privacy amid new rules users will need to implement by March 15 is causing a lot of ridicule. Members of the XDA Developers developer community called the feature “useless as a disappearing message”.
The missing WhatsApp message is available to everyone as of November 2020. The feature doesn’t interfere in any way in taking screenshots and doesn’t even alert the sender of the attempt. According to XDA Developers, this renders the feature completely useless. Also read: Caught Using Bodong TNI Service Plates, This Woman ‘Showing Off’ This Car Apologizes
