It was said in the preamble of this test, the G8 Power Lite provides here a block photo composed of 3 objectives. Unfortunately, and if the consumer would have been able to feel spoiled, this block has only one aim that is usable in daily life, the wide-angle 16-Megapixel (f/2). The other two modules are limited to uses ad hoc, since it is a module macro 2 Mp (f/2.4) and a module depth of 2 Mp (f/2.4).
Module wide-angle lens (16 Mp, f/2)
The wide-angle G8 Power Lite is not exactly the same as that of the G8 Power, which was also 16 Mpx, but with an aperture f/1.7. Here, the aperture to f/2, of course, mean that the sensor receives less light, particularly in nighttime conditions, and a compensation by a rise in ISO is likely. This implies in general a loss of detail, a certain anti-aliasing and electronic noise. Of day, this module does nothing in particular with a image of the most classic, and even a few annoying flaws, such as a huge loss of details in the corners of the image. The color fidelity is not of the party, with a very dull.
Night, most of the details are lost due to a strong smoothing, and you can clearly see that the Realme 5 Pro is more gifted in this exercise. The Power Lite to the rescue on occasion, not much more.
Sensor front-end, Portrait mode, video
Despite a goal dedicated to you, the Portrait mode of this terminal is not always very fair, with a focus capricious and a cutting correct only to depth-of-field moderate. The quality of the front camera is rather correct, in spite of a sensitive management of the high brightness. Finally, the video is only Full HD at 30 frames per second, and no stabilisation of the party. You do not play the apprentice filmmakers with this camera the use of which must remain punctual.
