Update: It has since been confirmed that the TDU Connect show will feature actual gameplay of Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, and that the mention of gameplay footage is not just gameplay screenshots.
Original: The last time has it versed a whole host of rumors that all suggest that Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is delayed until 2024. Neither publisher Nacon nor developer KT Racing have addressed the rumors properly yet, but it looks like they will soon, as a TDU Connect event has now been announced.
This will be a 30 minute long show that promises to showcase “unforgettable photos and some real surprises.” Anyone hoping this will include gameplay should probably temper their expectations, as the announcement for this show specifically notes that there will only be gameplay footage this time around…
Considering that the TDU Connect announcement didn’t mention a release date, and the fact that there apparently won’t be any gameplay, it looks like we’re headed for the game being delayed and pushed to sometime in 2024.
