Wife of comedian Tessy Srimulat, Sri Handayani, died last Monday (27/6). His body was interred at the TPU Kampung Asem, East Jakarta.
Abandoned by his beloved wife, the owner of the real name Kabul Basuki has regrets for the late Sri Handayani.
“I’m a naughty person, I’m a wild person, to the point that I made a mistake with the deceased. That’s why I stayed married six times,” said Tessy Srimulat when she was a guest star on Pagi Pagi Ambyar, Tuesday (5/7/2022).

Nevertheless, Sri Handayani, who is his first wife, remains the most important and number one in his heart.
“But of all that number one is wife first,” said Tessy.
Their marriage has lasted for 56 years. This Srimulat member had time to think why he didn’t go first but his wife. However, now he has given up on it.
“For 56 years we were separated by God, but why wasn’t I the one who was taken first, why was my wife like that. But what can I do, it’s God’s will,” said Tessy.
“We must not separate ourselves from our wives, we are only separated by Allah,” he continued.
Furthermore, Tessy is also grateful to be by her wife’s side until her last breath.
“He wanted to die, there was no message, I didn’t have any inkling. I am grateful, thank God, when I closed my eyes next to him, so I knew exactly (his death),” explained Tessy.
Then, Tessy He also said that he had made it clear that his wife had gone so that he would make his way to heaven later.
“In my religion, if the wife leaves her husband and the husband is willing to let her go, then that is the way to heaven,” he concluded.
