While the jury thought Tess Medina was stronger in the starter, it was all the more even in the main course, where the jury thought Tess Medina was a notch sharper. However, they agree that Josefine Freij, in turn, was better at dessert.

But then it was clear: Tess Medina impressed the jury the most during the shivering and emerged as the winner.

– Apparently I had jumped insanely high for joy. I haven’t seen it yet, says Tess Medina to Aftonbladet earlier on Thursday.

– I kind of don’t remember, it just went black. I can’t remember.

What are you going to do with the prize money?

– It’s funny, because I actually have no idea. I haven’t given a single thought to what I’m going to do with the money. But probably live. I haven’t worked in the last six months, or since January. So it’s time to catch up a bit. You notice that things are starting to happen now and it’s super fun. I want to continue writing cookbooks and inspire with food. So we’ll see where this journey takes me.
