Deliveries of the electric tractor from Tesla begin on December 1, when a special event will take place, and just a few days earlier Elon Musk boasted that a composition weighing 37 tons had successfully completed a course with a length of 804 kilograms.
The billionaire announced this in a post on Twitter, without providing specific technical details on how and where the test was conducted. Judging by the fact that Tesla describes the truck’s consumption as around 1.24kWh/km, a mileage of around 800km means that the battery has a capacity of around 1000kWh.
What we know so far is that the truck will be able to travel about 650 kilometers in 30 minutes and the propulsion will be managed by three independent electric motors on the three axles.
