Tesla is currently testing the first pieces of the Cybetruck around the world. It is said to be one of the most unique products in the automotive industry in the last decade
At the regular conference regarding the results for the second quarter of this year, Tesla announced several interesting information and the Cybertruck model was also mentioned.
Earlier this week, the automaker shared a commemorative photo of the first mass-produced pick-up at the Texas gigafactory on its Twitter account. Currently, production in a very limited mode (or pre-production production) continues and the finished cars then travel to all corners of the world for final certification.
„The Cybertruck remains on track to begin full production at the Texas gigafactory later this year. We are now testing cars all over the world for final certification and validation. This is one of the most unique products in the field of the automotive industry in the last decade, and it is also related to the testing and testing of new technologies,” was heard at the conference.
New images have also been released showing the electric pickup in various stages of testing as well as on the assembly line in Texas. For understandable reasons, a small controversy is once again spreading on the Internet, this time regarding wipers.
In one photo, the Cybertruck drives through a kind of mud pit, while a single wiper removes dirt from the windshield, the range of which is quite limiting even for the driver himself. It basically creates one small window in the lower left corner (from the driver’s perspective), which can be quite insufficient in certain situations. Hopefully, this deficiency will be eliminated in pre-production.
