Tesla will soon include Apple AirPlay support in its cars
The novelty appeared in the source code of the iPhone application
But we don’t have official information yet
With the latest update of the Tesla application (version 4.23), there were also speculations about the upcoming Apple AirPlay support. Musk already promised during the last year that he would discuss the implementation of this frequently requested feature with his engineers. According to the code, it now looks like AirPlay is indeed in sight.
With AirPlay available, the need for Tesla car owners to mirror their phone screen via CarPlay, most often to view maps or music services such as Apple Music or Spotify, will virtually disappear.

Although we do not yet have any official statement from the automaker on this topic, we can expect AirPlay to come really soon. In the past, the upcoming function for recharging cars from home solar panels was also revealed in a similar way. In addition, with the lossless transmission of music via AirPlay, the playback quality will also increase, which many owners will surely be happy to hear.

I enjoy Apple, quality audio-video technology and generally smart solutions that work. I try to spend my free days cycling in bike parks and trail centers, or in the mountains with a backpack on my back. I enjoy good music, sometimes an interesting book and I like to travel.
