Elon Musk cannot be trusted when it comes to keeping promises. In interviews, in press conferences or on his favorite Twitter, he very often plans a whole series of things, while they are rarely realized in a defined period of time. Tesla’s electric tractors, which Musk revealed five years ago and haven’t seen yet, were no exception.

But that’s changing this year. The billionaire confidently stated on Twitter that production of the long-awaited Semi model has already begun and that the first customer, world-renowned sweet drink manufacturer Pepsi, can expect the first delivery of a hundred vehicles on December 1. These were ordered from Pepsi as early as December 2017. The beverage giant confirmed to the agency Reutersplanning to use electric tractors in the state of California.
Don’t neglect
The Tesla CyberTruck will not arrive this year and the changes await the final version
The Tesla Semi should accelerate from 0 to 100km / h in 20 seconds even under full load and shouldn’t be a drag on highway traffic. In addition to promising a “fun driving experience,” Musk also added that the battery will be charged to 70% capacity within 30 minutes. Depending on the specific configuration, this should be sufficient for a range of between 480 and 800 kilometers.
