Tesla has announced a service campaign that affects nearly half a million cars produced between 2014 and 2021. This includes the Model 3 produced between 2017 and 2020, as well as the Model S produced between 2014 and 2021.
The problems with the Model 3 are related to the cable for the rear view camera in the trunk, which can be torn by rubbing. Tesla will replace the defective beam and install protection in the affected cars.
For the Model S, the problems are with the front cover and one of the locking locks. Due to incorrect placement, one of the locks may not close completely, which may cause the cover to open while driving in certain situations.
