Arkham Intelligence recently spotted several transactions from Tesla. The automaker transferred almost all of its bitcoins to several anonymous wallets. Everyone is wondering what Elon Musk has in mind.
This week, after two years without touching his wallet, Elon Musk’s company transferred more than 11,500 bitcoins to unknown addresses. With a valuation of around $770 million, it must be admitted that all eyes are on what will become of these cryptoassets.
Currently, no one really knows, especially since the company has not spoken out on the subject. What is certain is that this movement comes a few days before the publication of Tesla’s financial results (October 23). One hypothesis suggests that the giant could resell its assets to try to redress the results if they do not reach the objectives… Especially since the current price exceeds 68,000 dollars at the time of writing these lines, i.e. its highest peak since the end of July.
However, some analysts speak of a simple securing of funds. We will most likely have the answer in the coming days. Let’s just remember that the last time Tesla carried out an operation of this type was in 2022 and it was followed by a sale of the majority of its cryptoassets.
