Not long ago, the popular YouTube channel Rich Rebuilds rose to fame when it created Tesla Model S with a 6.2 V8 gasoline engine. Now he has started working on his latest project, the Tesla Model D. This version will be powered by a gigantic, black diesel fuel.
What is he going to put in there?
The car will be built on the basis of the crashed Tesla Model 3, into which the Cummins 4BT diesel engine will fall. It is a unit with a cast iron block with a capacity of 3.9 liters and a weight of approx. 340 kilograms! The project will be known as the Tesla Model D. In the first video of the series (see below), YouTuber buys the Model 3 wreckage and begins the transformation process.
The sketches show that there will be a chimney protruding from the Model 3 engine compartment. You can be sure that it will be used for black kicking, i.e. coal rolling. The size of the diesel engine makes it impossible to use the original bonnet. Therefore, this powerful diesel will be visible to everyone at all times.
Not only diesel
The car sketches also show that the Tesla Model D will get wider fenders and unique wheels. It promises to be a real roller-coaster ride, which only winds up the creators. It is worth recalling that the recent Rich Rebuilds project with a Tesla Model S and a V8 engine looked like an electrician from the outside. The Tesla Model D project will be much less subtle!
